Privacy policy

Short version: what you draw and search for stays in your browser. There are no accounts, and we do not store your locations.

Last updated: 15 October 2026.

Who is responsible

The data controller for this website is GISkon (sole proprietorship (enkeltmandsvirksomhed)), owned by Henrik Rosenskjold, CVR 38755986, 9400 Nørresundby, Denmark. You can reach us at [email protected]. You have the right to ask what data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet).

What you draw

All calculations run in your web browser. Points, circles, lines and areas you draw are kept in the page's memory and in the page address after the # sign. Browsers do not send that part of the address to the server, so GeoDrafter never receives it. When you copy and share the link, whoever opens it sees what you drew. The place search looks through a list that is downloaded to your browser; what you type is not sent anywhere.

The "my location" button, where a tool has one, asks your browser for your position. The position is used only on the page to move the map and is not sent to GeoDrafter.

What is loaded when you use a page

Statistics

We may use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It does not use cookies, does not store personal data on your device and does not track you across websites.

On the tool pages we also count, without cookies or personal data, how often each tool is used, how often a result is exported or shared, and whether an error was shown. When there is an error, the message is included with all numbers (such as coordinates) removed. No identifier, location or drawing is sent. The counts are stored with Cloudflare and help us fix tools that fail.

Advertising and cookies

GeoDrafter does not show ads and does not set cookies at the moment. If ads are added later, this policy will be updated first and visitors in the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland will be asked for consent.
